    Second time out on a non giant road bike. Had a very irritating creak from the seat post. Put up with it for a few hours before I said enough is enough and called in to Giant Perth. I thought it was the seatpost needing some grease and the correct torque (after a few adjustments today for the saddle height). The person I dealt with deduced it was more likely to be the saddle. After tightening, the creak had gone. He still checked the torque on the seat post clamp to eliminate that. It's very refreshing to meet a person in a shop who's not just trying to sell you stuff. He was courteous, knowledgable, and explained what to do when home if the problem resurfaced. Excellent service, and a definite reason for using that shop for future purchases.

    Then charges me a price I won't mention here simply because it's too good, and for fear of being hounded for more outrageous bargains.

    Constant shifting issues from this point, chain popping off at least once a ride (Even short 30ks). Been tuned and indexed repeatedly.

    Guys here were very professional, i was greeted as i walked into shop by both staff members who offered superior knowledge of their range. I was helped to chose my bike then set up and fitted for free! They even swapped out my stem for a matching one at the size i needed. Awesome service here. This is my shop now for sure! Thanks guys!

    Takes the bike he was working on off to look at mine; Straightens front derailleur; Straightens rear hanger; Fiddles with my casette; Tunes my gears; Straightened my handgrips; Advises me future expenditures;

    Haven't ridden far enough to see if it is all fixed; but he did what he could, and far more than what I expected or what many other stores would. Probably is fixed too.

    Honestly, feel like a jerk because I didn't even get his name.

    Riding through today I bite the bullet and get info to see what can be done. I stop at one shop: identified chainring, not badly bent but no other option than to be replaced. Quoted $75 parts and labour, end of story.

    Few months prior I had ridden over the wood bridge at Elizabeth Quay, was damp from a nights rain and cold morning. Proceeded to have awesome crash, sliding down the last 1/3 of the bridge, as well as my bike sliding further than myself. Landed right side so all my components copped a beating.

    Old mate looks at it, draws the same conclusion as the other store, although with a few additives.

    Although I read reviews, I very rarely give them. However after today's experience, a positive review is the first thing I am doing after a 120km ride!
