    Three stars for the location, the selection of books and activities for kids. Two stars off for the poor customer service side I've received more than once, prior to the really bad day above.

    Used to love coming here with my child to pick out books and DVDs to share with her, but have been hesitant to return after my 2.5 year old was having a difficult day, and had a tantrum at the desk while we were trying to find some books I had returned but the library had somehow misplaced and told me were overdue. The older female librarian I was dealing with pretty much asked us to leave and come back another day. Not very understanding or helpful, when my child just needed a minute to be calm down without added pressures. I already felt like everyone was staring and judging my parenting, and this just made the situation worse.

    I've been going since I was 6 months old and the librarians know me and are always so friendly!

    Local lawn bowls and social club. Has a bar, lawn bowls, darts, pool tables, bistro and TAB.

    Welcoming library and community centre. Very helpful staff at the library. Activities for kids and a breastfeeding area!
